Effie Yang



Effie Yang, co-founder and Brand, EGD director at OFGA, received a Bachelor of Arts from Parsons School of Design, and is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.


Ms. Yang’s early training with Vice Magazine and branding consultant Sullivan, was followed by her work with Kohn Pederson and Fox. This infused her graphics and branding sensibilities with elements of spatial design, which was instrumental to the success of her global branding initiatives as Art Director for RMJM North America. Ms. Yang has since directed many projects across a variety of fields, from traditional printed publications to environmental graphics, and from furniture to branding campaigns.


Ms. Yang’s passion and creativity has converted many partners into clients, and vice versa, including Kohn Pederson and Fox, Gensler, and SOHO China.

Winston Yeo AIA, LEED BC+D




Winston Yeo, founder and managing director at OFGA, attended the college of architecture, arts, and planning at Cornell University, and received a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. Mr. Yeo is a registered Architect in the State of New York, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a LEED accredited professional with specialization in sustainable building design and construction.


Mr. Yeo received his formative professional training from Kohn Pederson and Fox, and Hillier (subsequently RMJM Hillier in North America). Between 2006 and 2011, Mr. Yeo made significant contributions to a number of award-winning projects, most notably the Irving Convention Centre, Texas. He also worked in close collaboration with Gehry partners during the two firms’ joint competition entry for the ARTIC program.


In 2013, after eight years of extensive international design work out of New York, followed by another two years of project management in Shanghai, Mr. Yeo established OFGA in Hong Kong as an independent studio for ideas and craft.
